Maliyadeva Collage

Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala established in 1888 is considered to be one of the leading Public Schools in Sri Lanka. It is a National School and controlled by the Central government. Today the school accommodates over 5000 students. Usually the word "Devans" is being used to call the students of Maliyadeva College.
Over the years, Maliyadeva has produced notable alumni and thus contributed to Sri Lanka. It has produced many renowned professionals in fields such as management, science, telecommunication and sports.
