MALIYADEVA BOYS' COLLEGE
A new star was risen to the North Western Province in the year of 1888. Sir Henry Steel Olcot & Anagarika Darmapala was the pioneering leaders for the establishment of MALIYADEVA COLLEGE. The main objective of establishing the Buddhist schools is to stop the spared of Christianity by missionary schools. In the first days the classes were in several places. Now it is a Governmental school. It is one of the National schools in the country. After few years it became one of the most popular school in the country.
